The Berlin art scene’s biggest joint venture celebrates the city’s status as a hotspot of contemporary art in September each year.
Every year in September, art fans from all over the world are invited to experience this five-day event showcasing the tremendous energy and creativity of the Berlin art scene. At once a point of attraction and a source of friction, contemporary art is the source of so much of Berlin’s vitality and finds expression in the city’s breathtaking artistic diversity. As the driving force behind the Berlin Art Week, we bring key players and art-market figures together with public and private exhibition spaces, which open their doors for inspiring insights into the current state of contemporary art production. Current Information
In 2020 and 2021, despite the Covid-19-related safety and social distancing measures, the entire spectrum of events involved with the Berlin Art Week was made available to art enthusiasts. The events came to a successful close with a total of several tens of thousands of visitors.
The 11th instalment of the annual Berlin Art Week is scheduled to take place from 14 to 18 SEP 2022.
